RoleDescription:
The Marketing Operations Director plays a criticalrole in supporting and optimizing all aspects of the marketingfunction. This role is responsible for developing and executingefficient marketing processes, implementing and managing marketingtechnology, and analyzing marketing performance to drive measurableresults and being an individual contributor by owning Marketo and6Sense day to day.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Technology StackManage and optimize marketing automation platform (Marketo)including data segmentation, campaign execution, lead scoring, andreporting. Integrate marketing automation platforms with other keymarketing and sales tools (e.g., SFDC, 6Sense, Ringlead, ZoomInfo,Zoom Webinars, BrightTalk, Leandata). Evaluate and recommend newmarketing technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Marketing Operations & Processes:
Develop and document marketingprocesses and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiencyacross all marketing channels. Lead marketing data analysis andreporting, providing insights into campaign performance, leadquality, and ROI. Develop and maintain marketing dashboards totrack key performance indicators (KPIs). Manage lead scoring modelsand nurture programs to qualify leads and improve conversion rates.
Support the execution of marketing campaigns across all channels(e.g., email, social media, paid advertising, and contentmarketing).
Data Management & Analysis:
Ensure data quality andaccuracy across all marketing systems. Conduct regular data auditsand implement data cleansing procedures. Analyze marketing data toidentify trends, identify areas for improvement, and inform futuremarketing strategies.
Project Management:
Manage and executemarketing projects on time and within budget.
Team Leadership andDevelopment:
Lead and mentor a team of marketing operationsspecialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, andcontinuous improvement. Provide guidance and training to ensureteam members are up-to-date on best practices and emerging trendsin marketing operations.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field(Master’s degree preferred). 8 years of experience in marketingoperations or a related role, with at least 3 years in a leadershipposition. Experience in SaaS, B2B, or technology industries ishighly desirable.
Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge ofmarketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, 6Sence) andCRM systems (e.g., Salesforce). Expertise in analytics andreporting tools, such as Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, orsimilar platforms. Familiarity with data management practices,including data hygiene, segmentation, and compliance (e.g., GDPR,CCPA).

Strategic thinker with the ability to balancelong-term vision with day-to-day execution. Strong analyticalskills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, andmake data-driven decisions. Excellent project management andorganizational skills, with the ability to manage multiplepriorities simultaneously.
