The Janitorial Operations Manager is responsible for overseeingseveral hundred-service locations and multiple Area Managers withassigned territories. Responsibilities include but are not limitedto managing operations, controlling expenses and payroll budgets,handling employee issues, maintaining vendor relationships, andmanaging risk and safety. Janitorial Operations Managers are alsoultimately responsible for ensuring the highest level of customerservice throughout the worksite locations in their territory. TheJanitorial Operations Manager is a role model and leader who mustsolve problems, make informed decisions, and manage the workforcewisely in order to achieve maximum results.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES
– This is not an all-inclusive list Ensurefinancial and quality performance for assigned area ofresponsibility Build relationships with customers in conjunctionwith account management Approve all travel submissions and vacationrequests of Area Managers and other direct reports Ensure allcompliance measures are met Hire, mentor, and evaluate all AreaManagers and other direct reports Implement new work Review,request equipment needs Coordinate with People Operations BusinessPartner to ensure all employee issues are addressed Inspectworksite locations Implement safety and training activities Serveas backup to Area Manager when necessary

Skilled in developing and training workforce, buildingrelationships, and effectively utilizing team strengths Experiencedin delivering all types of floor care, custodial, and housekeepingsolutions Committed to providing outstanding customer serviceMaintains fair, consistent standards in workforce managementCapable of adjusting priorities and managing time wisely in afast-paced environment Proficient in maintaining accurate workforcerecords and documentation Communicates clearly and concisely;listens attentively and provides understandable instructions Stronginterpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-throughskills Keeps professional and technical knowledge current byreviewing publications, benchmarking best practices, andcontributing to team goals Operates all necessary equipment, withstrong computer skills including internet use, Google Suite,Outlook, Word, and Excel
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Willing andavailable to work full-time schedules including nights, weekends,and holidays Previous experience in big box or multi-store retailmanagement required Comfortable handling million-dollar volumeoperations College degree desirable
LICENSURE
: Must possess avalid state driver’s license in order to fulfill the duties of thisposition, as significant travel between accounts is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
: This job may require lifting of objects thatexceed 50lbs., with frequent lifting and or carrying of objectsweighing up to 25 lbs. Other physical demands that are requiredare, reaching, climbing, stooping and or kneeling, lifting,carrying, pushing and pulling, writing and seeing.
