Morningside Zip Line Operations Supervisor (Charlestown, NH)
JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will serve as the primary onsite group sales, reservations and challenge course operator for Morningside Flight Park in Charlestown, NH. The primary function of this position is to maintain the safety of the challenge course, comply to ACCT standards, develop good customer relations with our growing local, regional and national customer base, and be the point person for trainings, inspections and activity reservations. Additionally, you will assist with sales in the Flight Parks pro shop, creating customer reservations and general upkeep of the facilities. In this position you will be required to familiarize yourself with and ultimately market all of Morningside Flight Park’s adventures including but not limited to; Hang Gliding, Paragliding, Powered Paragliding, Zip Lining, Laser Tag, Fishing, Camping, the Facility and the Events that are held there. DUTIES This role will be on-site in NH with some travel for promotion and presentation.
Establish and maintain a customer base for the Flight Park.
Maintain the safety of the Zip Line Course, including but not limited to inspection of equipment, inspection of course elements, guide scheduling, guide training, and course maintenance
Answer phone calls, scheduling follow up calls, categorizing inquiries and closing sales
Utilize both email and social media platforms to capture all inquiries
Assist in Social Media marketing campaigns
Work with Kitty Hawk Marketing and Sales team in North Carolina to work within and utilize the corporate Marketing strategy
Spearhead Group sales initiatives
Staff the Adventure Desk and coordinate all Adventure reservations with appropriate guides
Provide first point of contact with guests and establish expectations and appropriate orientations
Maintain a point of sale for retail goods
Maintain Waiver and Adventure Documentation
Maintain merchandise and manage retail space and inventory
Provide retail assistance to guests and order retail products from Kitty Hawk Kites
Other duties assigned by Morningside Management
SKILLS REQUIRED
Good phone skills & able to sell on phone.
Good organizational skills.
Detail oriented.
Comfortable with multitasking.
Strong and current social media skills and the ability to manage an account such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Able to work on feet all day
Able to lift 35 pounds, regularly
Ability to work outdoors in the sun
Quality customer service skills and an attitude commensurate with the role of making an excellent first impression
Must be willing and able to build strong relationships with customers
Must be a team player
EXPECTATIONS 8
30 AM Start Time unless otherwise stated by Manager
Open/close retail area and open/close POS system
Inspect course elements being utilized that day
Answer all inquiries (phone, email, social media, in person)
Stay updated on current and forecasted Weather and hill conditions
Coordinate reservations and current student programs daily with instructors and guides
Call or email students as necessary to maintain accurate reservations database
Assign guides to guests and maintain an informed schedule with guides, instructors and shuttle drivers
Work with Flight Director and Manager to maintain efficient and quality guest flow and up to date reservations system
Maintain retail inventory and ordering schedules
Oversee Waivers and file them accordingly
Provide quality control and spot checks of guide interaction to maintain an ongoing assessment of safety, quality, education and fun.
Attend all meetings as required.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk and retail area.
Fulfill any duties assigned by the Flight Director or Manager.
Ensure proper stowage and lockdown of equipment and retail area
TRAINING
