Director of Plant Operations Position Available In Middlesex, New Jersey

Director of Plant Operations RAM Recruiting South Plainfield, NJ 07080 A skilled nursing facility is seeking a knowledgeable and dependable Director of Plant Operations to oversee the maintenance and safety of our building and grounds. This full-time role is key to ensuring a safe, well-maintained, and regulatory-compliant environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

Manage daily maintenance operations, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs Supervise and schedule the maintenance team Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations Oversee fire safety systems, emergency preparedness, and life safety protocols Coordinate vendor services and maintenance contracts Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and documentation Participate in survey readiness and facility inspections

Requirements:

Previous experience in a plant operations or maintenance leadership role, preferably in healthcare Strong working knowledge of building systems and regulatory requirements Ability to manage a team and work collaboratively across departments Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues Familiarity with CMS and life safety code standards preferred
