If you’re a logistics expert with a passion for efficiency and safety, we’d love to hear from you! We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Manager/Fleet Manager to lead our fleet operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing fleet operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving efficiency improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize fleet operations, including dispatch, routing, and scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Supervise and mentor fleet personnel, including drivers and support staff.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in fleet management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Proficiency in fleet management software and systems
- 1+ years driving/delivery experience preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate Cargo Vans and Box Trucks
- Must provide a recent driving record/abstract with no major accidents
- Must have a strong knowledge of Commercial routes for box trucks Must live in north jersey it is ideal because we are operating out of little falls NJ.
