ApplyToJob=352667982 The Opportunity We are looking for a strategic Operations Manager with great organizational and interpersonal skills to help develop and maintain systems processes and procedures that optimize the Schools’ daily operations. The person is this role will: Build, implement and maintain exemplary systems and protocols for all facets of school operations Ensure EVCS campuses are ready for start-up each new school year by ordering furniture, equipment, supplies etc. and ensuring school services are in place Onboard new employees with technology (issuing devices, introduction on programs and protocols at EVCS, briefing on internet security, etc) Provide basic tech support, in collaboration with IT provider Coordinate field trip and events processes, including logistics and communication to appropriate stakeholders Liaise with Buffalo Public School District to include troubleshooting any ongoing food service and nursing services issues Help maintain an accurate, network-wide inventory system Develop and prepare resources to support the network-wide and campus-based comprehensive safety plan as directed by the Facilities Manager and School Building Leaders Coordinate district-wide events, such as family events, professional development days, staff/student picture days, yearbook production, etc in collaboration with building-based staff, business office team, and facilities manager Coordinate and communicate end-of-year procedures, including collection of classroom technology Conduct operations walk throughs to review internal school-based systems and procedures to recognize areas of strength, identify areas for improvement and share best practices Assist with the charter school re-authorization and reporting processes as needed Identify, codify and ensure implementation of best practices and continuous improvement across the network Special projects as assigned We want someone who: Has experience developing and implementing systems and processes that increase organizational effectiveness and efficiency Demonstrates a commitment to providing high-quality service to EVCS stakeholders Is detail-oriented with excellent follow-up and follow-through Has strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrates responsiveness and acts with urgency to resolves issues quickly Is able to build interpersonal relationships with diverse groups Maintains a positive attitude in a fast-paced Is a team player and open to receiving feedback Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, and is flexible Takes initiative, prioritizes tasks effectively, and can work independently with little direction Maintains confidentiality and exercises discretion in the dissemination of information Has strong organizational, problem-solving and data-gathering skills Qualifications Four or more years of operations experience in a dynamic environment, preferably within a school setting Bachelor’s degree or commensurate professional experience Highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools, G-Suite and able to use various apps, programs and software What We Offer EVCS offers an excellent working environment supported by a shared leadership model to ensure each person’s strengths can be utilized and fostered.
