The Role We are currently seeking a Production Leader who will be responsible for managing the daily operations and performance of their assigned production unit, including acting as a leader to their assigned team within- implementing and managing performance, development, and culture initiatives to bring our products to life. This individual will be accountable for managing and utilizing all people and other resources to achieve set production metrics for their unit. A primary duty of this role will be people leadership and development, including the training, development, and engagement of our highly-skilled staff members to deliver superior products. The success of this role will heavily depend on leadership skills and abilities of this individual in empowering and engaging their team members. Qualified candidates will have the following: Demonstrated successful previous experience in a leadership role. Preferably in a manufacturing or similar environment. Bachelor’s degree (preferred) – Technical or Operational in nature. Demonstrated previous experience in change implementation/management. Team oriented, high attention to detail, good communication skills to work closely inter-departmentally, and within an assigned team. Previous operational system experience (e.g. ERP, CRM, POS, or other operations and/or metric driven or producing system(s)). Must have demonstrated experience working collaboratively and effectively with organizational leadership. Our candidate will also have strong demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic organization. Experience in skilled manufacturing is preferred but NOT required. This position is full-time, located at our corporate headquarters on Chandler St in Buffalo (free parking).
