Operations SUMMARY :
This position is responsible for supervision, coordination and daily responsibility for all personnel, workload, training and equipment in all areas of the warehouse, with support for Inventory Management, and Production Planning teams. Coaches and supervises the Operations Staff in operational activities to ensure compliance with team goals, objectives and budget. Assists General Manager in formulating and administering organization policies by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be as business requires Reviews on a continual basis the work processes, staffing and equipment for maximum efficiency while controlling costs. Participates in formulating and administering company policies and developing long range goals and objectives. Confers with other management personnel to establish production and quality conformance standards, develops cost controls to obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications and delivery dates of customer orders. Plans and directs production activities and establishes production priorities for customer orders in keeping with effective operations and cost factors. Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with customer specifications and operating or production problems. Maintains good customer relationships. Develops and implements operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating efficiency and quality. Attends bi-weekly operational bi-weekly Operational Meetings and adjusts departmental operations accordingly, establishing priorities based on most current information. Updates the daily Production metrics and follows up on issues pertaining to Fulfillment & Packaging Operations Directs and coordinates activities of Packaging jobs. Appoint Team Leads and delegate the responsibilities to meet the goals Directs and coordinates activities of Fulfillment Operations. Responsible for meeting On-Time delivery goals. Recommends and maintains staffing needs. Maintains awareness of changing trends and regulations which might affect the departments and acts on as required to ensure compliance. Researches and resolves personnel issues. Coaches team leaders and employees as needed. Consults with Operations Manager and Human Resources on such issues. Participates as an active member of the Complemar Safety Team. Consults with all departments on design and use of equipment, accident prevention and training needs.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises multiple employees. Responsible for the quality and quantity of work; the methods, equipment and supplies used; and the cost of operations. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or minimum of 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior staff, boards of directors, employees, clients, customers, regulatory agencies and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply principles of logical and scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to effectively understand, deal with and satisfactorily resolve customer and employee problems. Ability to simultaneously deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Ability to work in Windows environment, Microsoft Office and Outlook, including Excel and Word.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess or obtain a valid driver’s license and forklift license.
