Director of Operations 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars 510 Hempstead Turnpike, West Hempstead, NY 11552 Mindful Care is seeking a dynamic Director of Operations to lead the way in elevating our patient journey and optimizing efficiency across both our physical clinics and virtual platforms.

Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership – Oversee and streamline hybrid and virtual service operations, ensuring efficient workflows that are compliant with all privacy and confidentiality regulations and high-quality patient care. Lead and manage the Patient Access and Patient Coordination teams Coordinate facilities management Design and implement operational policies, SOPs & systems to support scalable and compliant service delivery Team Management and Collaboration – Lead and mentor department managers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance standards for operational teams related to patient access, clinician utilization, no show rates, etc. Partner with clinical leadership to support clinician performance, onboarding and optimize utilization Patient Experience & Quality Assurance – Champion a patient-first mindset, ensuring all operational activities enhance the patient journey. Ensure adherence to federal, state and payer regulations including HIPAA and licensing requirements. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Department to support audits, risk management protocols, and implement recommendations Data-Driven Decision Making – Leverage analytics and KPIs to inform decisions, forecast resource needs, and improve patient outcomes

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business, public health or related field 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations management, behavioral health setting preferred Proven ability to lead teams, manage complex systems, and meet performance goals Strong working knowledge of HIPAA, telehealth operations, and medical billing practices (behavioral health billing preferred) Data-driven mindset with experience using EHRs, scheduling systems, and reporting tools

Compensation :

$110,000 – $150,000 (variable compensation based on skill and background) + up to 20% annual performance based discretionary bonus and equity options package.
