Job Description

Non-Profit Organization Role:
Operations Manager (Temporary to Permanent)
Pay Rate:
$35-40/hr
Location:
Downtown Manhattan (Chelsea/West Village area) – •4 days a week onsite•
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:
Manage day-to-day operational activities, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.
Salesforce Administration:
Serve as the primary administrator for Salesforce, including data management, report generation, dashboard creation, user support, and system optimization to support fundraising, program management, and constituent relations.
Employee Onboarding & Support:
Play a key role in the employee onboarding process, including preparing necessary documentation, coordinating initial training logistics, and ensuring a seamless transition for new hires.
IT Systems & Setup:
Oversee the setup and basic maintenance of IT systems for new and existing employees, including hardware deployment (laptops, monitors, etc.), software installation, network access, and troubleshooting common IT issues. Act as a liaison with external IT support as needed.
Vendor Management:
Manage relationships with various vendors (e.g., office supplies, IT services, facilities), ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality service.
Office Management:
Oversee general office administration, including managing supplies, equipment, mail, and maintaining a well-organized and productive work environment.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline operational processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Compliance & Policies:
Assist in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and organizational standards.
Budget Support:
Assist with operational budget monitoring and expense tracking.
