Kennel Operations Supervisor Aqueduct Animal Hospital 896 Riverview Road, Rexford, NY 12148 Are you passionate about pets and looking for an exciting opportunity to lead a high-end kennel operating out of a well-established quality animal hospital? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kennel Manager to oversee our top-notch daycare and boarding services for our furry friends.

Aqueduct Animal Hospital is known for our exceptional care and personalized attention to each pet. Since 1954, Aqueduct Animal Hospital has been providing boarding for our clients. In 2020, our new facility opened that is designed to provide a safe, fun, and luxurious environment for dogs and cats to play, relax, and socialize. Using sound protocols, advanced sanitization machines, and our disinfected air, you will see that every aspect of our facility was designed to keep pets safe, healthy and happy.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Daily Operations:
Ensure smooth running of the kennel, including hiring staff, creating a staff schedule based on staffing needs, staff supervision, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Pet Care:
Oversee the health and well-being of all pets in dog and cat boarding, including feeding, enrichment, and administering medications as needed.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent service to pet owners, addressing their needs and concerns with a friendly and professional attitude.
Staff Training:
Train and mentor kennel staff to uphold our high standards of care and service.
Facility Maintenance:
Ensure the kennel is always in top condition, including regular cleaning and maintenance.
