Job Summary:
The Construction Team Lead is a leadership role responsible for the successful implementation of work orders and projects. This position requires a deep understanding of splicing process as it relates to telecommunications network buildouts. This role requires the ability to navigate work prints and communicate to the work group a plan to execute understanding each team member’s responsibilities. This role is hands-on and requires multitasking.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary focus-Act as a team lead of the splicing team supporting technical needs and activities Conduct work inspections and confirm production deliverables. Collaborate with Engineering to review work prints to identify potential issues and document any work design changes. Work with team members to ensure procedures are understood and adhered to. Maintain accurate records of daily field production and as-builds Promote a culture of learning and growth for team members Train new members of the team
Quality Control Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of construction safety regulations, standards, and best practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical audiences.. Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Must be able to prioritize tasks and be situationally aware in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
3-5 Years experience leading work groups in a field setting
Working Conditions:
This role primarily works in the field, there are also administrative tasks. Field assignments may involve exposure to various weather conditions, terrain, and physical hazards typical of construction or industrial settings. The role may require working irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate field activity. Physical requirements may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
