We help clients become better than they were yesterday through high-level training, luxury service, and a results-first culture. We’re expanding and looking for a Director of Operations to take full ownership of our gym operations and team leadership. This is the top leadership role in the company aside from the Founder , with a path to become VP of Operations or COO. Position Summary The Director of Operations will manage all day-to-day operations, team performance, client experience, and department leads (Sales, CRM, Personal Training). You won’t be responsible for making sales—but you will ensure the teams who do are performing. This role is 100% in-person across our Long Island locations (Mount Sinai and Stony Brook), with a full operational start expected by January 1, 2026 . This gives time for the right person to phase in, learn our culture, and lead with confidence. What You’ll Do Lead and manage all location operations and performance Oversee department heads (Sales Manager, CRM, PT Manager) Run weekly management meetings to review KPIs and train leaders Handle all hiring, training, and performance management for staff Ensure top-tier client experiences across assessments, onboarding, and service Maintain facility standards (cleanliness, scheduling, team professionalism) Oversee marketing execution and ensure alignment with sales goals Build internal systems (training docs, SOPs) that support scale Prepare to manage budgets and profit/loss responsibilities over time What We’re Looking For 3+ years of experience managing multi-unit fitness, wellness, or service-based teams Strong leadership and accountability skills Deep understanding of client experience and team culture Operational excellence: loves structure, systems, and consistency Excited to grow into P&L ownership and executive-level leadership Clear communicator with a “get it done” mindset Must be able to travel daily between Long Island locations (no remote work) Performance Goals Client retention stays under 4% monthly Trainer and manager turnover stays under 10% quarterly 95%+ operations compliance across all facilities ≥8.0 average satisfaction from staff surveys Department heads consistently hit their KPIs SOPs and systems built quarterly to support growth

Pay & Benefits Base Salary :

$85,000-$100,000

Bonus Potential :

Up to $30,000/year

Total Compensation :
