Job Title:
Guest Services – Wellness Coordinator Overview The Salt Marsh Wellness Retreat at Silver Sands is a nature-inspired sanctuary for restoration, rooted in the rhythms of the land and sea. We are seeking a warm, grounded, and highly responsible Wellness Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of this serene space. This individual will be the welcoming presence that guides guests into their experience, while also maintaining the retreat’s high standards of cleanliness, calm, and care. Key Responsibilities Guest Experience & Coordination Greet guests with warmth and professionalism at the start of each session Escort guests to the retreat space and offer a short orientation upon arrival Ensure guest privacy and comfort while maintaining a quiet, peaceful environment Support group and private session bookings, ensuring smooth transitions between reservations Act as the liaison between guests and the concierge or front desk for any needs that arise Sanctuary Setup & Turnover Prepare the space in advance of each session (towels, lighting, scents, ambiance) Execute a thorough 30-minute turnover after each use, ensuring cleanliness and replenishment Manage the daily wellness schedule and session log to track guest use and time blocks Facilities & Plant Care Oversee daily maintenance of all wellness amenities, including: Steam room Hybrid infrared & dry sauna Cold plunge (daily check of temperature and cleanliness) Water indoor and outdoor plants once per week, keeping the retreat feeling alive and well-tended Monitor cleanliness of common areas (lounges, treatment room, restrooms) and restock supplies as needed Team Collaboration Coordinate with the front desk, housekeeping, and facilities teams as needed Provide guest feedback and observations to help shape ongoing improvements Support occasional special bookings (e.g., private groups or press visits) Requirements Prior hospitality or wellness experience preferred but not required Naturally warm and welcoming demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills Highly organized, punctual, and attentive to detail Comfortable working independently and moving with calm focus in a guest-facing role Physical ability to lift supplies, manage turnover tasks, and operate in warm or humid environments Schedule & Compensation Shifts will align with the daily session schedule, with breaks between sessions Includes weekends and holidays, as needed Competitive hourly rate; seasonal role with potential to return each season To Apply Please submit a short note telling us why this role resonates with you, along with your resume and availability.
