Operations Director TransducerWorks, LLC 2821 Earlystown Road, Centre Hall, PA 16828 Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Director to lead our operational strategies and initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in operations management and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. This role is crucial for driving process improvements, enhancing business development efforts, and ensuring the overall efficiency of our operations. The Director of Operations will work closely with senior leadership to align operational goals with the company’s strategic vision. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organization’s operations division. Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems. Collaborate with other divisions and departments to conduct the organization’s goals and objectives. Reviews production reports to ensure safety, quality, financial and delivery goals, and standards are met. Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials in a multi-site and international environment. Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organization’s business plan and vision. Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution. Reviews and approves cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projects. Establishes and administers the department’s budget. Deploys lean manufacturing and optimization of fabrication yields with statistical analysis and reporting Manage the supply chain and ensure procurement safety, on time delivery, target cost of goods Presents performance reports and metrics to executive leadership. Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management. Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided. Oversees and participates in the recruitment, hiring and training of manufacturing operations directors and managers. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policies. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Bachelor’s degree in engineering operations or related field, or ten to fifteen years related experience, and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experienced leader and operations executive with appropriate high reliability industry experience such as defense, aerospace or space sectors Experience in applying regulatory standards such as ISO 13485 and/or

FDA 21 CFR

Proficient in the use of ERP systems, MES or QMS platforms Energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards Ability to lead cross-functional teams Experience in change management or scaling production Green/black belt certification or knowledge will be a plus Experience with cleanroom environments and micro-assembly will be a plus Strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus Well-organized and self-directed with a team-player approach Intelligent and articulate in relating to people at all levels of an organization with excellent communication skills Trustworthy with willingness to share information and to serve as a mentor Must be PC proficient and can present functional specifications to IT department Ability to complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner and to be conscientious about assignments Effective verbal and written communication skills with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company Ability to exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and works to maintain constructive working relationships If you are an innovative leader who thrives on challenges and is committed to operational excellence, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity as our Operations Director.
