Operations Manager (Powder Coating Division) F3 Metalworx 12069 East Main Road, North East, PA 16428 Job Summary Responsible for planning, organizing and controlling the powder coating production operations for F3 Metalworx, Inc. in the North East, PA facility. Responsible for all daily production activities including, but not limited to, quality, process implementation and improvement, Meet or exceed scheduling expectations, consumable inventory control, policy implementation, and safety. Manage all production personnel in their development. Ensure the quality of goods. Supervise all production aspects. Candidates for this position must have experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably powder coating. Candidates with manufacturing management experience are highly encouraged to apply. Senior management may also evaluate candidates for an hourly supervisory role. Job Requirements Ability to lift, push, pull up to 55 lbs. on your own and up to 70 lbs. with a team lift or equipment assistance Ability to walk, bend, stoup, crouch, kneel, climb, stand for duration of shift Ability to work in high temperatures Ability to communicate needs and concerns in a timely manner Ability to read and understand process sheets Ability to hear horns, buzzers, and an intercom page, and respond accordingly Ability to wear proper PPE-eye protection, gloves, and steel or safety toe shoes or boots Ability to recognize differences in metals, welds, bends, and any contamination within the products Ability to recognize any disconformities in different parts Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings Ability to use and understand MIE (MRP system) Duties and Responsibilities Display the ability to fill staffing voids by assisting team members to meet production needs and requirements Display the ability to properly utilize labor (additional labor assigned to masking, etc.) Evaluate incoming jobs by aligning resources (masking, labor, verifying part counts, powder, and packaging) Optimize production line efficiency by monitoring density, line speed, down time, quality, and overall productivity Displays the ability to find bottlenecks in production processes, brings solutions to issues Ensure designated area start times are met (L21 1st

Responsible for operation metrics; Safety, Quality, Retention, OTD, % Earned, Scrap Provide leadership and support to direct reports to discuss progress of work, resolve problems and ensure that standards for quality and quantity of work are met. Ensures employee safety as is an assumed member of safety committee with expectation of performing accident investigations. Supervises and directs the activities of employees involved in production of goods—counts, quality, proper packaging for shipping and handling. Responsible for proper handling and storage of consumable products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and adhering to FIFO methods for storage of product. Ensures new process documentation and implementation. Identify opportunities and set metrics for process improvements and cost savings. Maintain appropriate levels of scheduling of personnel to most efficiently and effectively meet production standards while minimizing downtime. Maintain housekeeping of production areas.
