Description Operations & IE Support Manager will have cross-functional responsibilities, coordinate and optimize various aspects of shipping operations, production, and sales through the management of a variety of support functions. Requires strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams to ensure smooth and efficient business operations. This role also manages the IE Support Group and also maintains the ERP cost system, including all bills and routings, operations and time standards, as well as processing of all Engineering Change Notices.
Operations & IE Support Manager Primary Duties:
Shipping Operations:
Collaborate with the shipping team to oversee the timely and accurate processing of orders, shipments, and deliveries.
Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock availability and prevent stockouts or overstock
Responsible for monitoring, building and shipping panel assortments for new
Manages and tracks shipping-related issues and works with Shipping and Sales Support to resolve customer complaints related to order
Works with Operations and Sales to establish monthly shipping targets and follows up with all to reach expected sales levels
Production Support:
Work closely with the production team to ensure that production schedules are met and products meet quality standards.
Monitor the ASI order process, working with the ASI Coordinator, IE Support, Planning, and Embellishing as needed to ensure the smooth flow of information between the customer, scheduling, art department, credit, and the factory floor to move new orders through the process to be scheduled and
Maintain accurate finished good due dates, updates the “out of stock list” for accuracy, and works with planning to allocate and print those orders. Proactively works to minimize late orders and has overall responsibility for reaching past due targets set for the
Meet weekly with Innovation to discuss and determine the timing of release of special factory orders and new product.
Facilitate communication between production and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and avoid delays.
Oversees the licensing request and approval process for customers that wish to purchase, alter and re-sell our products. Maintains an active database of requests, manages the approval/sign off process, and provides customer
Identifies process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce
Sales Coordination:
Support the sales team by processing orders and preparing sales
Liaise with the sales department to provide product availability and delivery updates to
Collaborate with sales representatives to address customer inquiries and resolve order-related
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze operational data to identify trends, areas of improvement, and potential cost-saving
Generate regular reports for management, providing insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Act as a bridge between different departments, fostering effective communication and
Oversee cross-functional meetings to provide insights and updates on operations-related
Proactively seek input from various teams to ensure that all perspectives are considered in decision-making processes.
Process Improvement:
Evaluate and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and

Implement and oversee process changes, ensuring smooth transitions and proper
IE Support Group Management:
Manages the IE Support Group to ensure that the ERP system is update in an accurate and timely manner as it pertains to:
Bills of materials and routings for all products and
Master routings, time standards and operations for new products and
Work centers, warehouses, and cost
Time standard
Costing updates as products and processes are added to the ERP
ECN changes within the ERP
The creation of item numbers to support the ASI process
The creation and tracking of pilot work
Management of the sample knife process for new products, special factory orders and other special projects.
Management of the SFO excess database and
The creation of quotes for new
Creates and implements Standard Operating Procedures for the IE Support / Inventory Control Groups group as
Teaching and training of IE Support Group employees as
Inventory control for the
Engineering Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operations, logistics, supply chain management, shipping, production, and/or sales
Proficiency in using relevant software tools, such as Excel, ERP systems, and data analysis •This is a full on-site, salaried exempt position located in Bradford, PA•
