Job Description

Role Summary Free People is looking for a Temporary Operations Coordinator to be a Free People Ambassador by providing exceptional customer service skills such as meeting deadlines, assisting with customer requests, and using flexible/creative approaches to improve business. This temporary role will be through August 2025. Role Responsibilities Customer Care Answer customer inquiries within 24 hours Manage new customer applications and account set ups Report shipping issues and routing information as available to Wholesale Operations Supervisor Assist Account Executives with order information as needed Order Management Assist with bulk order entry to ensure the inventory is reserved in time to meet the customer’s request Support return authorizations and credits for specialty, international, ecommerce and off-price accounts Complete Order Maintenance on open orders for existing and new accounts Intercompany Transfers Assist with Specialty Intercompany Transfers including maintenance: Troubleshoot Style Setup errors – Costing, Attributing, Incorrect Color Setups, Activation Data Entry & Processing of transfers between channels (Retail, Direct and Wholesale) Assist with Tracking and Follow-up until final transfer receipt General Support team members in other areas of responsibility during heavy workflow periods such as end of month and order entry post wholesale shows Up to 40 hours a week with an opportunity for limited overtime Other duties as assigned Role Qualifications Demonstrated excellence in retail customer service and advocacy Strong communicator: proactive, effective and positive Professional and respectful with all internal and external customers The Perks URBN offers comprehensive Perks & Benefits to employees.
