Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager is accountable for ensuring an efficient, safe, and effective operation of the manufacturing facilities with responsibility for overseeing all aspects of the production process, including planning, quality control, process optimization, safety policies/procedures, and team management. This role is also responsible for manufacturing process definition/optimization, ISO 9001 implementation, production tooling/fixtures, and collaboration with cross-functional teams while also demonstrating strong leadership expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of the manufacturing operations to ensure availability to meet sales demand and forecast requirements. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, promoting a results-driven, collaborative culture with a focus on accountability and continuous learning. Ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal standards. Develop and manage the operations & quality budgets, analyze manufacturing costs, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or delivery. Interface with strategic suppliers and service partners to ensure alignment of delivery schedules, quality expectations, and innovation partnerships. Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and practices. Implement and maintain robust ISO quality management system Define manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and define organizational reporting of metrics/KPIs Lead CAPA & Root Cause Analysis methodologies including 5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA, FTA, & others Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, work instructions, and procedures to drive productivity, quality, & cost-effectiveness Define required production tooling, fixtures, and equipment necessary to drive efficient manufacturing operations Lead the development of manufacturing control plans, PFMEAs, and SPC techniques to monitor and control critical processes Do you qualify?

We are seeking:

Bachelor’s Degree in or related to Manfacturing or Quality Engineering. Masters Degree preferred. 6+ years of experience working in the Electrical Industry, Industry markets, transformers, Power Quality and related magnetic products. Experience leading

ISO 9001

implementation & quality system management Familiarity with electrical panel manufacturing processes Understanding of UL508A and related industry standards Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills Ability to be “hands on” to demonstrate processes using tools/equipment Proven track record of driving process improvements and operational efficiencies Customer-centric focus with a proven track record of building lasting relationships. Strong coordination and deadline-oriented skills, adaptable in leading or contributing to multiple projects concurrently. Expertise in navigating compliance and regulatory changes, understanding their impact on market preferences and product offerings. Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP, analytic tools, and sound product management fundamentals.
