What we are looking for:
Gilman Floors is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and positive minded Operations Manager to lead and coordinate daily flooring installation operations. In this full-time, hands-on role, you’ll ensure every project runs smoothly and up to Gilman Floors highest standards—from prepping materials in the warehouse to completing final walkthroughs with customers. This role is essential to delivering the high-quality results and customer service our clients expect. You will lead the daily coordination of job materials, contractor scheduling, on-site inspections, and customer communication from project start to finish.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and reviewing job paperwork and work orders Managing installer teams and visiting job sites daily Ensuring installation quality and job site cleanliness Communicating with customers, installers, and internal staff Managing on-site issues, leveling needs, and customer approvals Submitting completed job paperwork and assisting with final payments
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in operations, project management, or a related field (flooring or construction experience strongly preferred) Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Exceptional communication skills—must be clear, proactive, and responsive Comfortable working in both office, warehouse, and job-site environments Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards Ability to handle customer concerns with professionalism and care Flooring or construction experience is a plus but not required. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Bilingual (English/Spanish) is extremely helpful

Monday-Friday, starting at 7:30
AM Compensation:
