Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Loggerhead Management Team, the beach supervisor is responsible for overseeing the service of all beach stations and providing exceptional customer service to all guests. They are also responsible with training, motivating, and coaching the staff. The beach supervisor will assure that all guests are staying at The Sanctuary if utilizing beach amenities; room keys will be checked, or guest name and room numbers will be checked off on the daily room list. They are also to make sure that all cleaning tasks before and after shift are being completed and holding their team accountable to it. They will assist in resolving complaints/issues related to the Beach area. The beach supervisor is an extension of their managers, making sure their team is aware of anything management needs them to know but also makes management aware of anything the team needs. They also assist in monitoring the guests’ needs and in all phases of the operation.

Qualifications:
Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for restaurant clientele. Ability to communicate with proper grammar in English. Ability to provide legible written communication. Some experience in similar position dealing with the general public required. Minimum 18 years of age to serve alcohol.
Expectations & Responsibilities:
Overseeing the beach staff to meet safety standards, service delivery, cleanliness, and ambiance. Supervise the completion of daily beach set-up and breakdown. Responsible for assuring all guests are Sanctuary guests and alerting non Sanctuary guests where they may go for beach chairs. Provide a high level of service when engaging with guests, using problem-solving, attention to detail, and guest safety. Paying attention to detail
- making sure all beach chairs are lined up, umbrellas are in good condition, and beach is clean and organized.
Ensure cold water is passed to all guests on the beach every 90 minutes. Ensure there is a rotation in beach attendants and all guests are being assisted in a timely manner.

- Carries/ pulls/ moves chairs and umbrellas many times per shift over long distances (50-100 feet), often times through sand. 100
