Job Description Summary:

TheDirector, Operations is responsible for delivering safe, efficientand effective patient care through all operational aspects in anOption Care branch while meeting all corporate compliance and otherestablished rules and regulations governing the healthcareindustry. The role is directly accountable for driving marketdevelopment and financial performance while providing directoversight for all branch operations including pharmacy dispensingand nursing.

Scope requirements:

2 sites with Job Responsibilities(listed in order of importance and/or time spent)

  • Overseesoperational performance of the branch including efficient,effective and high quality delivery of services and patient care.
  • Ensures patient safety and satisfaction through direct managementof pharmacy dispensing operations and nursing. Ensures errorproofing for pick, pack and ship operations.
  • Partners withRegional Director, Sales to drive market development and executemarket based sales strategy.
  • Drives financial performance of thelocal office through supply chain/inventory optimization, managingcontrollable expenses, reducing bad debt (claims on hold) andaccurate patient registration and onboarding.
  • Ensures compliancewith local and federal regulations, accreditation standards andcorporate policies to drive effectiveness and consistency inoperations.
  • Builds a cohesive, service-oriented team throughrecruitment, training and development, engagement and retention ofqualified team members. Maintains a work environment in which staffwill succeed and grow in their professional development andcontribute to the overall success of Option Care.
  • Overall revenueaccountability in a single location of up to $40 million annually.
  • Consistently models behaviors that build our culture around theOption Care Core Values of Compassionate Care, Engaged Teams andQuality Results.
  • Observes legal and ethical guidelines forsafeguarding the confidentiality of patient and proprietary OptionCare data.
  • For accreditation, responsible for coordinatingperformance improvement (PI) activities including development andimplementation, assisting in identification of goals and relatedclient/patient outcomes, and coordinating, participating in andreporting of PI activities and outcomes. Basic Education and/orExperience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years ofexperience in a position leading an operation.
  • At least 3 yearsof experience managing a P&L including budget development.
  • Atleast 5 years of experience directly managing people includinghiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work;experience in leading team efforts within highly matrixedorganizations. Basic Qualifications
  • Experience in diagnosing,isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending andimplementing strategies to resolve problems.
  • Experience providingcustomer service to internal and external customers, includingmeeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customersatisfaction.
  • Experience evaluating information to determinecompliance with standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Basic levelskill in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
TravelRequirements:

  • Willing to travel at least 20% of thetime for business purposes (within state and out of state).Preferred Qualifications & Interests (PQIs)
  • Master’s Degree inHealthcare of Business Administration
  • Experience leading salesand/or operations in Home Health Care or Infusion.
  • RN or RPhlicensure
