Operations Manager Position Available In York, South Carolina

Operations Manager Confidential Rock Hill, SC 29734 We are looking for an Operations Manager who can provide leadership to staff members and manage the daily operational aspects of the business while ensuring the organization’s goals and objectives are achieved. In this role you will work with customers, vendors, and all staff members to meet established operating goals and standards. Responsible for the oversight of the facility management, team communication, safety management and company policy adherence Oversee the facilitation of staff coverage for customer demands Participate in recruiting efforts as well as the full life cycle of an employee Lead by example and provide mentorship Maintain company maintenance and safety records Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies Oversee data entry into the company software if accurate Act as a liaison between company and customers Communicate updates and needs according to customers, staff, and upper management Performs a variety of clerical and administrative tasks Support community outreach events Participate in weekly and monthly meetings to address safety, operational, accounting, human resources, sales, marketing needs and concerns All other duties as assigned

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Minimum High School Diploma or GED required, some college preferred 3-5 years of management experience leading a mid-size team of direct reports is required Valid driver’s license driving record Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and random drug screens Available to work Saturdays Effective communication skills (verbal and written) Experience in leading and managing teams required Strong decision-making ability Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and fleet maintenance preferred Experience in the fields of general labor, management, non-CDL transportation, landscaping, construction, project management, logistics, production, manufacturing, assembly, factory or warehouse helpful
