About the Job i9 Sports is expanding its youth sports programs at its Fort Mill, SC location and is looking for a responsible, well organized individual to manage the personnel scheduling and on-field activities for its programs. The Site Manager is responsible for providing a superior i9 Sports Experience and overseeing the game-day operations of the youth sports venue. This individual must be high-energy, well organized, and possess strong problem-solving and customer service skills. Ideal candidates will have experience working with kids and a desire to learn sports management. We are a customer service-oriented company so those who have had experience “Wowing” customers have a leg up on the competition. Responsibilities Ensure proper staff resources are available for game day Set up and breakdown fields for game day events Manage/supervise part-time staff members and volunteer coaches Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills Supervise the overall operation of a venue including programs operating on schedule Demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values Organize game day equipment and ensure the cleanliness of the venue Qualifications/Requirements Must be energetic and enthusiastic, demonstrate a positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships Must be 21 years of age or older Must be able to demonstrate youth sport instruction and coaching experience Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems Excellent communication & organization skills Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, ~7 – 8 weeks) Must be able to lift and move up to 40-50 lbs. Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check Must have state issued Valid Drivers License Must have reliable transportation (ability to pull a trailer is a plus) Must own a smartphone compatible with apple or google play
Experience:
Youth Sports operations management experience: 3 years Youth Sports Experience (Coaching, Officiating, Administration) 5 years Customer service: 5 years (Preferred) Experience with children: 5 years (Preferred)
