Job Duty
Job Duty promote the mission of division to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large;
Job Duty promote effective working relationships among LMU faculty, staff and students;
Job Duty implement the strategic planning process and contribute to the development of new programmatic strategic initiatives as directed by the Chief Operating Officer;
Job Duty assist the Chief Operating Officer in providing guidance to the Associate Dean and Chief Administrative Office and assistant/associate Deans on strategic analysis, planning and program budgeting;
Job Duty liaison between and work closely with LMU Administration, Finance, University Advancement (funds development and marketing/PR), Physical Plant and Properties, Human Resources and Information Services, for the advancement of

Knoxville;
Job Duty assist the Chief Operating Officer in coordinating the development, implementation, and management of DCOM annual budget;
Job Duty manage

LMU-DCOM

Knoxville facilities, facilities related projects, and special events;
Job Duty assist the Chief Operating Officer in the accreditation process for DCOM undergraduate osteopathic medical education
Job Duty assist the Chief Operating Officer in developing DCOM related policies and procedures;
Job Duty identify opportunities for efficiencies, take advantage of new opportunities and address organizational challenges;
Job Duty assist the Chief Operating Officer in implementing and leading a continuous quality improvement process throughout

LMU-DCOM

Knoxville and service areas, focusing on systems/process improvement;
Job Duty advise the Chief Operating Officer and Associate Dean and Chief Administrative Officer on vendor/new project contracts;
Job Duty assist the Chief Operating Officer in mentoring and developing

LMU-DCOM

Knoxville administrative staff through establishing goals, priorities, and training;
Job Duty promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality;
Job Duty participate on University committees;
Job Duty manage and complete required institutional and program accreditation reports and other reports necessary for the operation and advancement of the University; and
Job Duty perform other duties as assigned.
