Job Description
Responsible for managing client service within the business unit to drive growth, profitability, and client satisfaction. Acts as the liaison between the client and business, ensuring effective issue resolution and optimizing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate all aspects of client service within the business unit. Ensure high client satisfaction and serve as an escalation point for issues. Develop programs and services to grow business with existing clients. Create pricing strategies focusing on profitability and competitiveness. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop account plans. Lead account teams to improve product/service solutions, reduce client costs, and increase profitability. Ensure projects meet timelines, specifications, and budget limits. Monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure client obligations are met. Communicate proactively on business issues and opportunities. Drive process improvements and corrective actions. Manage budgeting, financial forecasting, invoicing, and accounts receivable. Host Quarterly Business Reviews and maintain KPIs and dashboards. Delegate work effectively and provide leadership and guidance.
Supervisory Duties:
Organize, assign, and evaluate work of team members. Influence hiring decisions, performance reviews, and salary adjustments. Manage disciplinary actions as necessary.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business (MBA preferred). 10+ years in customer-facing roles with business or project management experience. Strong pricing, invoicing, and financial skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, SAP ERP, and UPS World Ship (preferred). Lean certification and logistics experience preferred. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to change.
Working Conditions:
Office environment with extended computer use. Occasional travel required. 10% Exposure to production areas (noise, dust, lift truck traffic).
