MVT is now hiring a Director of Dedicated Operations! This role can be based out of El Paso, TX; Wilmer, TX; or Nashville, TN and is on-site. Are you an operations expert ready to take a fast-growing dedicated fleet operation to the next level? We are looking for a Director of Dedicated Operations to lead and scale our dedicated division, which has quickly grown to nearly 100 trucks in its first year. With ambitious plans to expand to exponentially over the next three years , this is a high-impact role that requires a visionary leader who thrives on building, optimizing, and delivering results across multiple sites nationwide. Key Responsibilities Lead and Scale – Oversee our dedicated operations as we expand to new markets and fleets. Be on the Ground – Travel extensively (50-75%) to ensure site-level performance, support local managers, and strengthen operations at each location. Build Systems that Scale – Implement the right technology, automation, and operational frameworks to ensure consistency, efficiency, and cost control across all fleets. Drive Performance – Ensure each fleet delivers on-time service that meets customer expectations. Monitor KPIs, correct issues, and support managers in hitting service and financial targets. Optimize Assets – Oversee equipment usage and compliance to ensure trucks and trailers are managed according to contract specifications and pricing models. Strengthen Back Office Support – Work with our extended coverage team and staff to make sure processes, communication, and support functions are seamless and scalable. Qualifications Proven experience running and scaling dedicated transportation operations Deep understanding of fleet management , routing, equipment planning, and cost control
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or higher (Preferred) Strong leadership with the ability to guide and mentor site-level managers Expertise in operational systems, technology implementation, and process automation Ability to thrive in a high-travel, hands-on leadership role A data-driven mindset with an obsession for customer satisfaction and operational excellence Why Join Us?
