Tennessee Board of Regents System Office Job Summary Supervises the Regional Workforce Development Coordinators. Supervises the Center for Workforce Development (CFWD) daily operations and works with the Executive Director to ensure efficiencies are maintained and customer satisfaction (internal and external) is our focus. Assists the Executive Director in preparing reports and presentations to TBR’s Chancellor, Senior Staff, THEC and other state agencies as needed. This position may have the opportunity to work remote within the state of Tennessee but with periodic visits to the TBR System Office (Nashville, TN) at the employee’s expense, and potential travel to Tennessee TBR colleges may be necessary. - Provides leadership and supervision of regional workforce development coordinators within the CFWD. Monitors budgets within CFWD. Assists the Executive Director with planning activities, to include workforce convenings and regional/statewide workforce training opportunities for TBR colleges. Represent the CFWD at events and meetings when the Executive Director is unable to attend.

30% - Tracking progress of regional/statewide workforce development projects (via TNWORKS or other sources) using project management software to ensure KPIs are met.

25% - Liaison with various internal TBR offices as needed, including Marketing & Communications; Policy & Strategy’s Data Team; Academic Affairs and Business & Finance.

- (Marginal) Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- Five years of progressively responsible experience in a position leading teams and requiring planning, implementation and project management of short and long term projects
- Proficiency with various artificial intelligence (AI) platforms Preferred Qualifications
- Masters Degree in a related field
- Five years’ experience working in public higher education or a workforce development organization
- Experience in writing, implementing, and evaluation of strategic plans Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively, to use good judgment, and maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in using software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Excel, and Publisher to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports.

- Ability to travel required for required meetings
- including some overnights.
