Position Summary:
As our Strategic Fundraising & Engagement Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing revenue generation to support our vital community programs. This is not your typical fundraising role; we are seeking a self-starter who can leverage data-driven insights to identify high-yield fundraising opportunities and develop creative strategies to capitalize on them. You will help prioritize fundraising areas, design impactful events, and implement technology to automate and optimize our efforts, all while working towards achieving established annual fundraising goals. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Fundraising Planning & Execution:
o Conduct ongoing analysis of fundraising performance, donor behavior, and market trends to pinpoint high-potential opportunities. o Help develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan, strategically choosing areas of focus such as major gifts, digital campaigns, and corporate sponsorships based on anticipated return on investment. o Design and execute fundraising events that align with established annual fundraising goals and demonstrate strong potential for success. o Identify and implement innovative technologies and processes to automate fundraising tasks, enhance efficiency, and maximize results. o Determine the most effective allocation of your time between in-person and online engagement strategies based on data indicating the highest potential for donor cultivation and revenue generation.
Donor & Community Engagement:
o Cultivate and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key individual donors, corporate partners, and community stakeholders. o Strategically participate in community events and activities that offer the greatest potential for building donor relationships and increasing organizational visibility. o Recruit, train, and effectively manage volunteers and interns to provide crucial support for fundraising initiatives and community outreach efforts.
Donor Relations:
o Develop and implement personalized donor stewardship strategies that foster loyalty and encourage increased lifetime giving. o Utilize our CRM system to accurately track donor interactions, manage data effectively, and generate insightful reports to inform future strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, nonprofit management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in fundraising and community engagement with demonstrable results.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and drive initiatives forward.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and various digital fundraising tools and platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and motivate volunteers and interns.
- A proven track record of leveraging technology to automate processes and improve efficiency.
- A proven ability to analyze fundraising data and develop strategic plans based on those findings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with fundraising-specific and/or CRM software.
- Demonstrated success in securing major gifts and cultivating corporate sponsorships.
- Experience in digital marketing and online fundraising strategies.
Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is between $1,666 and $1,875 bi-monthly , depending on experience and qualifications. We are open to considering candidates interested in less than full-time employment and flexible work schedules. Successful candidates will be expected to achieve established annual fundraising goals.
