Benefits Energy is seeking a new Operations Manager! This position is responsible for the daily operations of our Chattanooga location and ensures all areas of the Operations Department are meeting Energy guidelines and standards.
Responsibilities Include:
Plans, assigns, and directs daily activity for all Bulk/Package drivers and warehouse personnel for location
Monitors Tankeye gauges daily and dispatches bulk oil, fuel, and DEF accordingly
Routes, dispatches, and ensures proper loading and delivery of all outbound product both package and bulk products. Responsible for managing the Routine Maintenance Schedule
Schedules all inbound package and bulk oil/fuel/DEF deliveries
Assists with month end physical inventory count and helps the Warehouse Manager to reconcile accordingly. Runs monthly reports to show operational data and performance of the operation
Evaluates tanks storage space and recommends inventory moves as needed for bulk oil, fuel, and DEF
Responsible for all fleet maintenance for tractors, trailers, tank wagons, and package trucks with assistance from fleet maintenance at corporate
Manage Driver monthly Safety Training meeting verify drivers have completed monthly training
Works with the Procurement Department and Sales Managers to recommend min/max levels and bin locations as well as assists in placing bulk oil orders for location
Hires, coaches, and reviews all operations personnel with overisght from HR and Safety. Directs training programs for new and existing employees.
Manages Omnitracs Review and Processes, including HOS violations
Reviews and enters weekly driver hours as well as timecard review and submittal to ADP
Enforces all company policies and procedures within the Operations Department in conjunction with company HR and Safety guidelines
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of operations management experience; college degree preferred
Ability to read and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Forklift certified or ability to become certified within specified timeframe
Valid Driver’s License
