Non-Exempt Position Summary The Operations Supervisor is a hands-on maintenance position who works under the direction of the Facility Manager and is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs activities as well as assisting in the oversight of the day-to-day operational activities. This is a customer-facing position, and it is critical that this individual maintain a high level of conscientiousness and professionalism, ensuring all client requests or concerns are addressed.
Essential Functions:
Assist in the day-to-day facility operations of the church and help regulate the workflow of normal, everyday operations. Work closely with the administrative staff of the facility, addressing all concerns that arise. Assist and advise LMPC staff in resolving issues and dealing with non-routine situations. Perform maintenance and repair activities; assist in moves and event set-ups; and occasionally assist custodial and grounds if required. Contribute to a proactive culture by performing routine building inspections and working with the Work Control Coordinator and the Facilities Manager to ensure deficiencies are prioritized and scheduled. Coordinate, supervise, and provide quality assurance for the activities of outside contractors. Assist the Facility Manager in supervising janitorial and grounds activities, helping ensure quality of work consistently meets agreed upon standards. Ensure that all TKC and LMPC policies and procedures are adhered to. Respond to and coordinate on-call emergencies, when necessary. Order parts and supplies for equipment and systems as needed Monitor and control material and equipment inventories
Other Functions:
Seek new and improved methods, policies, and procedures for enhancing the effectiveness of the facility Ensure work orders and preventive maintenance tasks are performed in a timely and professional manner Follow up with clients on activities or issues which may affect facility operations Schedule and coordinate facility inspections Manage other duties as assigned and as necessary

Technical Skills:
Proficiency with the work order process. CMMS experience a strong plus Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Broad knowledge of mechanical systems, building construction, and related maintenance and repair practices.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Required High School Diploma or equivalent 5+ years of experience in the repair and maintenance of commercial buildings, educational environments, correctional facilities and/or health care facilities Preferred Previous experience managing a multi-building campus a strong plus Position Type / Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time, exempt position with normal working hours Monday through Friday, working 40 hours per week. However, as business needs become necessary, after-hours, holidays, or weekends may be required. Travel Occasional travel may be required for this position. Supervisory Responsibilities No supervisory duties for this position. Work Environment Work is performed both indoors and outdoors with exposure to various weather conditions. Must be able to work in hazardous conditions while maintaining safety standards, work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, industrial settings, and construction sites, and work in loud environments and temperature extremes.
