Basic Function The Site Manager provides strategic leadership and direction for the plant, serving as the single point of accountability for achieving operational excellence across safety, compliance, reliability, quality, and cost. This role ensures asset preservation, strong site performance, and alignment with broader company goals. The Site Manager will also participate in cross-functional leadership teams and corporate initiatives. Roles & Responsibilities Plant Leadership Lead in alignment with Niche Polymer’s values and leadership principles. Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Empower and develop supervisors and employees to meet evolving business needs. Define clear staff responsibilities, authorize appropriate decision-making, and ensure accountability. Champion a diverse and inclusive work environment. Leverage plant financials to drive operational results. Manufacturing Leadership Collaborate with corporate operations leadership to support long-term manufacturing strategy. Share and implement best practices across both sites to ensure world-class performance. Company Leadership Align site activities with company-wide objectives and foster interdepartmental collaboration. Represent the site in leadership discussions and corporate initiatives. Promote innovation and process efficiency to support continuous growth. Planning & Resource Management Establish and communicate clear plant vision and operational goals. Manage resources, budgets, and staffing to meet production targets and cost goals. Champion capital projects that support strategic objectives. Lead employee development planning and succession management. Communications Create a culture of open and transparent communication across all levels. Promote alignment through consistent messaging on performance, expectations, and business goals. Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Ensure compliance with company, industry, and regulatory safety and environmental requirements. Act as signature authority for HSE compliance documentation. Represent the plant with local government and community organizations. Maintain required certifications and quality systems. Minimum Qualifications 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Proven track record in operational excellence and continuous improvement leadership. Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. Strong decision-making ability and a high degree of initiative. Knowledge of safety, quality, and compliance systems. Proficiency in production software, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools. Experience applying root cause analysis and quality management standards. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Management, or a related technical field. Minimum 5 years of demonstrated leadership in a manufacturing setting. Familiarity with polymer extrusion and/or particle size reduction is a plus. Understanding of engineering principles and financial reporting.
