PURPOSE OF POSITION
The DMR Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading Defective Material Review (DMR) group. This person will be responsible for managing parts which are returned from the Operations repair process, tracking input and output of the DMR process, reporting results to the Quality Engineers and Quality Manager and handling assignment of personnel per priorities established by the Quality Manager and Quality Engineers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This person will have end-to-end responsibility for the DMR area. Coordinate building of RTV shipments, requesting RMAs from vendors and sending return shipments in a timely manner. Responsible for preparing reports of status of the DMR area, such as piece quantities, dollar values, TAT (turn-around time), RMA status, etc. Attend weekly DMR status review calls with Quanta Taiwan Provides work assignments to DMR warehouse personnel. Approves and tracks VTO, PTO and Vacation requests, updates departmental calendar for DMR Personnel (Quanta and staffing agency). Submits annual performance reviews for DMR personnel. Liaison with off-line repair and off-line retest to ensure timely movement of material through the DMR process. Manages the Automated Optical Inspection machines in each building and the AOI Technician to prevent shipment of non-repairable parts and provide information to the Quality Engineers to reduce damage. Manages the Onsite Validation retest fixtures provided by part OEMs to retest and confirm line failures. Manages the Offline repair group. Control of physical inventory in the RTV area. Manage DMR receipt functions. Ensure proper PN/SN/Part Type is processed into DMR Receipt. Maintain flow of parts into DMR receipt. Manage packaging material inventory levels for RTV. Manage rack and mechanical part repair as necessary. Escalation Point for RTV when dealing with vendors/QCI Buyers/Sales Group. Escalates to Program Manager, Quality Manager or QE as appropriate. Assist as needed with shipping. Manage credit transactions associated with RTV. Ensure timely execution of cycle counts as well as timely resolution to issue identified during cycle counting. Coordinate all components to be returned to vendors and executes returns in a timely manner to ensure maximum return on warranty parts within the timelines so that QMN can maximize the inventory parts available. Execute inventory transactions in SAP and QWMS systems, as well as shipment systems. Maintain all housekeeping and safety standards. Instruct and train all DMR personnel in proper procedures and regulations ensuring appropriate documentation is completed. Train and motivate front-line employees through effective communication.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must have a minimum 1-2 years Lead experience in a warehouse or quality setting and a minimum of 1-2 years of shipping, receiving and inventory control experience Must have ERP system experience, SAP experience a plus Must be proficient with Word & Excel High school diploma required Post-secondary degree preferred

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Able to squat to lift boxes weighing up to 65 pounds. Able to stand, stoop and bend. Ability to walk and stand on cement floors for long periods. Able to work in warehouse environment with no central heat or air. Able to operate pallet jack and/or forklift.
