Tennis Memphis (TM) is 501(c)(3) non profit NJTL chapter and has been the leader, supporter and advocate for public tennis in Memphis since 2001. TM has established a successful track record of managing Memphis’ public tennis centers for the benefit of the public, offering comprehensive programs for youth, adults, and seniors, including junior development, NJTL Excellence Team, Tennis and Tutoring, summer Tennis Camps, USTA adult and junior league play and tournaments, lessons clinics, and events. Our mission is “Building a Better Community and Enhancing Lives Through Tennis & Education.” Our vision is that all Memphians, regardless of geographic location or socio-economic status, would have access to quality tennis and education enrichment programs that are accessible, affordable, diverse, and character focused, held at vibrant, active neighborhood tennis centers. Tennis Memphis seeks to hire a Welcome Center Manager for Leftwich Tennis Center. This position is comprehensive, and is responsible for all aspects of front desk operations at Leftwich Tennis Center. The Welcome Center Manager’s responsibilities are multifaceted and require a high energy-disciplined approach to successfully balance the management of the tennis center’s day to day welcome center operations including hiring, training, and managing all front desk staff. Providing excellent customer service is the primary goal of this position. Oversight of the Welcome Center includes detailed reviewing of patron’s processing and experience, tracking facility usage and programming numbers. Key qualifications include a bachelor’s or associates degree and management experience. The successful candidate needs to thrive in a diverse team environment and identify with Tennis Memphis’ mission and vision. They must have high ethical standards, be organized and trainable, and equipped with excellent leadership, communication and computer skills.
