Job Summary:

The Director of Operations will oversee the daily administrative and operational functions of Provive Wellness of Brentwood , ensuring efficiency, regulatory compliance, and excellence in patient care. This role collaborates closely with clinical teams, executive leadership, and support staff to optimize service delivery and implement strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:

Oversee daily operations to maintain smooth workflows, timely service delivery, and high-quality patient care. Manage non-clinical staff, including admissions, administrative, and facility management teams. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Compliance & Regulatory Standards:

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations , including HIPAA, Joint Commission, and Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (TDMHSAS) standards. Work with compliance officers to conduct internal audits and implement quality improvement initiatives. Maintain facility and staff licensure and certification renewals while staying updated on evolving industry standards.

Financial Oversight:

Assist in developing and managing budgets aligned with financial goals and resources. Monitor financial performance indicators such as revenue, expenses, and profitability. Collaborate with the billing department to optimize billing practices and ensure timely reimbursement.

Team Leadership:

Lead and support administrative and operational staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Provide training and professional development opportunities for team members. Act as a bridge between clinical teams, administrative staff, and senior management to align operations with the center’s mission.

Strategic Planning & Growth:

Partner with senior leadership to set long-term goals, including service expansion, program development, and operational improvements. Recommend and implement new technologies, resources, or processes to improve patient care and efficiency. Stay ahead of industry trends to keep the center competitive and innovative.

Client Relations:

Enhance patient satisfaction by optimizing admissions, intake, and care coordination processes. Address client and family concerns with swift and effective resolutions .

Facilities Management:

Oversee facility maintenance, safety, and functionality, ensuring a secure and therapeutic environment. Manage vendor relationships for building maintenance, renovations, and equipment upgrades.

Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

5-7 years of operations management experience, preferably in healthcare or behavioral health.

Knowledge & Skills:

Strong understanding of behavioral health regulations, including Tennessee-specific guidelines. Proven leadership and team management abilities. Experience with budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation. Familiarity with healthcare accreditation standards (e.g., Joint Commission, CARF). Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Certifications:

Certification in Healthcare Management (e.g., CHAP) or Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
