Ariento is seeking a Director of Security Operations that reports directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). This role will be both hands on and strategic as the right candidate will also collaborate with the executive team. Responsibilities Own the Ariento security and compliance audit and control function, to include vulnerability management. Own the Ariento security and compliance monitoring function. Participate and inform key decisions as a member of the Director team. Give feedback to the business and product team. Oversee incident response team and manage integration with security operations center. Create procedures, runbooks and other documentation. Conduct threat intelligence. Understand and mitigate key elements of the company’s risk profile. Own security and compliance policies & practices. Manage any third-party relationships to which functions you own have been outsourced. Participate in A&A testing/Security Control Assessment testing and assist in the preparation of necessary documentation following these tests to ensure systems attain the appropriate certifications and authorizations to operate. Assist with the annual review of the program system security process and procedures. Serve on the Ariento Development and Onboarding Teams with a focus on automating secdevops. Conduct organizational disaster recovery and responsiveness drills as required. Position Requirements Experience with some or all of the following vendors: Azure, Sumo Logic, Meraki, Palo Alto. Possess approved DoD 8570.01-M IA baseline certifications required for the IAT II position category and level [one of: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH] and for the IAM I position category and level [one of: CAP, GSLC, Security+ CE, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), CCISO]. Experience in Cybersecurity within DoD and/or Federal Government environments. Experience with Security Event & Incident Management (SEIM) tools is desired. Hands on experience with log aggregation and development operations (devops). Hands on experience with SIEM tools and/or malware analysis. Experience with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)

RMF, NIST 800-53, NIST

800-171, CMMC and/or and DoD Instruction (DoDI) 8510, “Risk Management Framework for DoD Information Technology is desired.
