$20.50/hour + $1,500 Sign & Stay Bonus
WORK SCHEDULE
7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
PRIMARY FUNCTION
Primarily responsible for providing general clerical support to the assigned production department(s). Performs all work in compliance with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Prepare purchase requisitions Generate Purchase Order numbers for each requisition Monitor and track purchase orders Obtain price quotes (when necessary) Perform clerical responsibilities related to order processing, ensuring timely order and receipt of supplies, equipment and materials Ensure supplies are received and routed to the proper location within the facility Maintain a positive working relationship with all managers, supervisors, employees, and vendors Work with vendors as necessary on status of back orders Prepare purchasing reports, verifying accuracy Assist with monthly inventory Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required Basic math skills and computer skills
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times in areas where required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
