DUTIES:

As an online order fulfillment specialist, you are responsible for the entire process of getting products from the warehouse to the customer’s doorstep, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. This involves tasks like receiving and processing orders, managing inventory, picking and packing items, preparing shipments, and coordinating with delivery services. You will also handle returns and resolve any fulfillment issues. Here’s a more detailed breakdown of the responsibilities:

Order Processing:

Receiving and processing customer orders from various channels (online, phone, etc.). Verifying order information and ensuring accuracy. Updating order statuses in the system. Generating packing lists and shipping labels.

Inventory Management:

Tracking inventory levels and alerting supervisors to potential issues. Ensuring products are available to fulfill orders. Maintaining a well-organized and stocked warehouse.

Picking and Packing:

Locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves. Accurately picking and packing items according to customer orders. Ensuring items are properly packaged for safe shipment.

Shipping and Delivery:

Preparing shipments for delivery, including labeling and packaging. Coordinating with shipping carriers for pickups and deliveries. Tracking orders to ensure timely delivery.

Other Responsibilities:

Handling returns and processing refunds. Maintaining records of all transactions. Resolving any issues or discrepancies in the fulfillment process. Communicating with customer service and warehouse teams. Contributing to the overall efficiency and customer satisfaction of the fulfillment process.
