Job Title:

Order Entry Representative Job Description As an Order Entry Representative, you will be responsible for entering customer orders into the ERP system, communicating order confirmations, and maintaining strong business relationships with both new and existing customers. You will process customer demands, ensure accurate order fulfillment, and provide updates on inventory levels, order status, tracking, and service contracts. You will handle inbound and outbound customer inquiries with professionalism and efficiency while developing a fundamental knowledge of products to offer the right solutions to customers. Responsibilities Enter customer orders into the ERP system and communicate order confirmation. Maintain strong business relationships with new and existing customers. Process customer demands and ensure accurate order fulfillment. Provide updates on inventory levels, order status, tracking, service contracts, and repairs. Handle inbound and outbound customer inquiries with professionalism and efficiency. Develop fundamental knowledge of products to ensure customers receive the right solutions. Generate invoices and credit memos for customer orders. Liaise with sales representatives, territory managers, service personnel, inside sales engineers, and production departments. Create and maintain customer records with accurate account information. Produce domestic and international shipping documents. Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager. Essential Skills Order entry, data entry, and order management skills. Strong administrative assistance and customer service capabilities. Excellent written and phone communication abilities. Exceptional problem-solving and time-management skills. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. High level of professionalism when interacting with customers and team members. Accuracy with numbers and strong attention to detail. Proficiency with ERP systems and computer operations. Moderate to advanced skills in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook). Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with customized databases and service support programs. Customer service oriented with multitasking capabilities. Experience in sales support and administrative support. High school diploma with 2+ years of experience in a technical customer service environment. AA or AS degree in business or manufacturing. Experience with CRM and ERP systems. Work Environment This is an onsite role with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
