Exempt Position Summary The Order Process Manager oversees the daily operations of the Order Entry Department and provides leadership to ensure that all order processing activities are carried out with accuracy, efficiency, and in alignment with company policies and procedures. This role is responsible for supervising personnel, managing workflows, and ensuring high-quality data entry and order fulfillment processes. The manager will collaborate across departments to improve operational processes and ensure excellent customer and sales support Key Responsibilities Hire, onboard, and train new Order Process Representatives. Provide continuous training, mentoring, and coaching to team members on systems, procedures, and order management best practices. Monitor individual and team performance; address any performance issues promptly and constructively. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs); identify trends and areas for improvement. Maintain proficiency in order management systems and ensure the accuracy of all data entry and reporting. Develop and implement policies and standard operating procedures for the Order Entry Department. Troubleshoot and resolve order processing issues; serve as a liaison for resolving sales and customer-related concerns. Identify and execute process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance department efficiency. Optimize order flow through business systems and dealer portals to ensure smooth and efficient processing. Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, Warehouse, and other departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment. Oversee order logging and assignment across multiple platforms, ensuring timely updates and accurate processing. Monitor the accuracy of all data managed by the order management team. Partner with IT to identify and resolve system-related issues swiftly. Maintain detailed performance metrics for team members, including order volume, line items processed, and monthly sales totals per Data Entry Rep/month. Act as the primary Order Entry Representative for in-house orders, showroom orders, mock-ups, and special/custom orders as needed. Required Skills and Knowledge Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proven leadership and team management capabilities Expertise in order processing and order management systems Experience in process analysis and continuous improvement Proficiency with ERP systems; experience in system implementation a plus Ability to optimize order workflows across internal systems and external dealer portals Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree required (Business Administration or related field preferred) Minimum 5 years of experience in Order Management Minimum 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment At AIS, we have a strong set of values that guide our business and help us align with our customers.
