Description
THIS POSITION IS IN-OFFICE IN BEDFORD,NH OR CHARLOTTE, NC, ONLY CANDIDATES WITHIN COMMUTING DISTANCE WILL BE CONSIDERED.
Job Purpose/ Summary:
Oversees the daily work of the Service Operations Specialists team to ensure order entry quality and order processing accuracy. Lead participant in the overall Order to Cash (O2C) process, while helping to drive a high degree of customer satisfaction.
Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
Serve as the subject matter expert for the order entry function.
Provide oversight, guidance, and training for the Service Operations Specialists team when new processes and/or systems are introduced.
Function as the order entry point of contact for other internal Single Digits’ teams.
Provide input and feedback on the overall effectiveness of the order entry team and individual team member performance.
Establish and maintain communication with the appropriate individuals throughout the process (Sales, Field Engineers, Logistics, Project Management, Finance).
Maintain order quality by ensuring compliance to Single Digits’ standards.
Drive order velocity and optimal workflow through the active management of priorities and maintenance of the order pipeline.
Confirm customer requested installation dates to assist with order and project set-up, and backlog management.
Create sales orders as required to ensure information is accurately recorded within the financial systems.
Create, schedule, and track Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) related to damaged or missing equipment, out of box failures, and client add-on orders.
Confirm ECOs are recorded correctly within systems to properly record changes in costs and revenue, while ensuring approvals (internal or client) are received.
Manage sales orders that modify existing client contracts (example: circuits or TV services), ensuring timely and accurate order entry.
Support the Single Digits’ Sales and Operations teams with Technical Service Requests by creating required documentation, seeking appropriate vendor bids, presenting quotes to clients, and scheduling work as required.

Requirements
Education:
Associate degree or equivalent combination of formal education and work experience.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in an order entry or a customer service role, preferably supporting Sales or Service teams.
Licenses, Certifications, and Screenings:
Upon hire, must pass background screen to include employment history, college education, and license/certification verifications, and criminal check.
Knowledge:
Working knowledge of SalesForceDotCom (SFDC), Intacct, and CPQ highly preferred.
Basic accounting skills.
Personal Attributes:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Keen attention to detail to ensure accurate entry of sales orders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to prioritize work and multi-task.
Ability to proactively follow up on open issues and demonstrate independent problem-solving ability.
Proven ability to build relationships with internal and remote colleagues and external clients using excellent people skills.
Work Environment:
Office environment with ability to work from home or office location, as situations demand.
Ability to travel periodically between Single Digits’ offices. Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing, but occasionally requires climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
Frequent use of computer/keyboard/mouse required.
Must be able to lift/move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds.
Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
