Salary/Hourly Rate:
$25/hr – $28/hr
Position Overview:
The Order Fulfillment Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth order process from start to finish. The Order Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for acknowledging orders quickly, confirming all details, and keeping customers informed every step of the way. This role partners closely with sales, production, logistics, and co-manufacturers to resolve issues and deliver a positive customer experience. Responsibilities of the
Order Fulfillment Specialist:
Serve as the main liaison for customers, providing timely updates and quick resolutions to inquiries. Process and revise 5 – 20 customer orders daily, verifying pricing, specifications, and lead times. Acknowledge all customer orders within 4 hours and proactively communicate order status, changes, and delivery details. Coordinate with sales, production, and logistics to resolve discrepancies and confirm fulfillment timelines. Maintain accurate customer records in ERP/SAP systems, tracking orders and identifying areas for improved service. Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and ensuring seamless customer service and order fulfillment. Contribute to the development of SOPs and participate in cross-training. Required Experience/Skills for the
Order Fulfillment Specialist:
Minimum of 3 years of customer service or administrative experience in a fast-paced environment. Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first approach. Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Comfortable adapting to evolving systems and processes. Preferred Experience/Skills for the
Order Fulfillment Specialist:
Bilingual in Spanish. ERP or SAP experience. Experience in food service, manufacturing, or distribution industries. Knowledge of international shipping logistics.
Education Requirements:
A bachelor’s or associate degree is preferred; candidates without a degree but with relevant experience will be considered.
