Onsite Position Summary:
Reprocess edible product for reuse.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Reprocess edible product by deboxing and melting the product. Operate the Baader machine and product-saver to remvove the product from the packaging. Maintain a Safe work area. Ensure that products are melted into the correct formula at the correct level to avoid food safetyand quality problems by introducing allergens to non-allegenic products. Ensure that product for reporcessing is handled in accordance with GMP’s and Kosher regulations Heat treat product for reprocessing, as required to achieve HACCP CCP’s. Ensure that all containers of product for remelt in the area are labeled properly with the date, line #, formula, and quantity. Maintian records of usage so that product is trace-able
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED.
Knowledge and Skills:
Complete knowledge of re-melting and mixing processes. Must be able to identify and report any food safety and food security concerns.
