FUNCTION
Primarily responsible for recording/documenting/tracking incoming raw materials and outgoing product from time it enters plant until product is sent to cook line. Performs all work in compliance with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulation
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Under minimal supervision, record all incoming raw material and outgoing product for a line from when it enters the plant until it is sent to cook line
Document raw material lot number and what product/lot it goes to ensure ability to track all raw materials to the end product
Adhere to all safe work practices, policies and procedures, maintains sanitary conditions and ensures product quality; reports any condition or practice that may adversely affect food safety, food quality and/or personnel safety
Performs other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Excellent attention to detail and verbal communication skills
Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate
Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours
Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs
Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times in areas where required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work in a wet and cold environment (45ºF, 4ºC)
Ability to stand up to 8 hours
