Export Utility G & C Food Distributors – 3.4 Alachua, FL Job Details Full-time $19 – $24 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications Spanish Management Organizational skills Communication skills Entry level Time management Full Job Description Do You work in a Warehouse and want a Monday – Friday day position? As our Utility Export you will be responsible for pre-paring, distributing, and maintaining all export duties of the organization and sees that the commodities meet the standards of all the destinations countries. The Warehouse Utility Export will also be responsible for operating an electric pallet jack, and/or forklift, to select the correct products using G&C order selection scanner technology, palletizing product to build customer orders and delivering the product to the dock safely and efficiently. The schedule for this position will be Monday- Friday 6-3 pm. Schedules are subject to change as the needs of the business are evaluated. Overtime hours and working weekends and holidays are required to successfully fill customers’ orders.

Every day you will:

Assisting in preparing shipments, documentation and record keeping according to USDA international regulations Collect data from product for country requirements for various regions Hand select orders for customers within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures, including dry, cooler, and freezer Accurately labeling product with various forms of labeling specific to region being shipped to (Spanish interpretation labels and USDA labels) Coordinate the inspections needed with the USDA inspector Assuring product integrity from start to finish, stacking product on pallets or in containers as needed following proper selecting procedures (for example, no stacking heavy-on-light, labels facing out, etc.) Staging and loading containers on proper dock locations and assuring loads are secure for travel To thrive in this role, you must: Be flexible, able to work overtime hours, weekends, and holidays as needed Strong organization skills and pay close attention to detail Strong communication skills, able to read, write, and communicate effectively Must be self-motivated Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff Strong problem solving, organization and time management skills #ADP1
