Jacksonville, FL Job Summary:
We seek a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving Assistant and Inventory Pick Packer to support day-to-day warehouse operations. This dual role involves receiving and inspecting inbound shipments, stocking inventory, and picking/packing customer orders accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving Duties:
Unload incoming shipments using pallet jacks, forklifts, or by hand. Verify delivery contents against purchase orders and report discrepancies. Inspect items for damage or quality issues. Label and sort items for storage. Enter receiving data into warehouse management systems (WMS). Maintain cleanliness and organization in receiving areas.
Inventory Pick & Pack Duties:
Accurately pick items from inventory according to order sheets or handheld scanners. Pack products securely, label shipments, and prepare them for dispatch. Replenish stock from the receiving area to storage locations. Perform cycle counts and inventory checks to ensure accuracy. Maintain organization and cleanliness in picking/packing zones.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED (preferred) Previous warehouse or logistics experience (preferred but not required) Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for long periods Basic computer skills or experience with inventory scanners Good communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Forklift certification is a plus
