Shipper Maine Wood Concepts 1687 New Vineyard Road, New Vineyard, ME 04956 Maine Wood Concepts is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Shipper to ensure the prompt and accurate shipment of goods.

• Major Responsibilities:

• Verify that all orders, shipment counts, and weights are accurate per packing instructions before shipment.
• Conduct mandatory checks of shipping documents to resolve any discrepancies prior to dispatching products.
• Ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures to maintain accurate shipping documentation.
• Follow shipping instructions meticulously and successfully address any questions related to shipments before finalizing any outgoing goods.
• Process shipping paperwork in a timely manner.
• Schedule carrier pick-ups for outgoing shipments.

• Key Tasks:

• Weigh count all products from various stages including production, finishing, and secondary processes.
• Organize and maintain the shipping area, ensuring processed items are ready for dispatch.
• Assist in palletizing, checking, wrapping, and transferring pallets to the shipping loading dock as required.
• Create accurate labels for all products, ensuring attention to detail.
• Learn about different products and operations to develop a strong sense of priority and urgency in the shipping process.

• Major Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as this role interacts with all levels of production staff.
• Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds frequently throughout the day.

• Working Environment:

• The Shipper must be flexible and possess strong communication skills to handle constant demands via email, phone, and in-person interactions.
• This position requires working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
