Summary:

Responsible for all activities involving tray packing and bagging of product according to customer specifications. Accurately and consistently weighs product trays for vacuum pack bagging.

Key Responsibilities:

Pack trays to specific pack size to customer specifications. Assemble trays according to supervisor and lead instructions. Ensure scales are tared properly each time before weighing trays. Weigh trays accurately following customer or supervisor’s specifications and instructions. Place weighed trays following FIFO (first in- first out). Check each tray for quality prior to bagging. Ensure work station, knives, and trimming utensils are sanitized according to company specifications. Adhere to GMP procedures and protocols at all times. Communicate product or process discrepancies and potential discrepancies to Supervisor. Perform other duties, as assigned. Qualifications A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Prior experience with the utilization of food processing equipment, scales, and trimming utensils is preferred. Prior experience with food safety and sanitation procedures is preferred.

Pay Range:

$16 per hour
