Job Summary:

The Packer/Shipper at Essilor is responsible for preparing finished products for packaging and shipment. This role requires attention to detail, computer literacy, and the ability to work in a team environment. Candidates must follow company packaging standards while maintaining safety protocols and ensuring orders are correctly packed and shipped.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify items are present and match the packing list before beginning the packing process. Wrap and pack items securely following company packaging requirements. Print shipping labels and organize packages by customer for final dispatch. Use hand tools and adhesives to protect packages during transit. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean packing/shipping area. Place finished packages into customer mailboxes or designated staging areas. Communicate with team members and report any packaging discrepancies. Operate basic computer systems for label printing and order tracking. Perform final checks and ensure all packages are sealed and ready for shipment. Support team operations and work flexible or overtime hours as needed.

Requirements:

Ability to read and write in both English and Spanish. Basic computer knowledge required (label printing, email, tracking). Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be flexible with working hours and available for overtime.
