Summary
Receives, stores, puts away, and issues equipment, material, supplies, merchandise, tools, and compiles stock records in stockroom, warehouse, or storage areas by preforming the following duties. Responsibilities
Ensure that all builds date orders and rushes are pulled, completed, and delivered on time while ensuring order fulfillment maintains an on time in full metric above a 99.5% for stockroom build. Fill a KANBAN racks on the line daily with required stock to maintain desired inventory levels. Prepares parodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock and stock reports. Check the transfer log multiple times a day and pull, label and stage all martial requested. Research and repull all lost or damaged orders Deliver finished goods cart to the correct production/warehouse locations. Manage the out-of-stock report to help identify all martials that needs to be ordered.
Inspect product for quality, recognize non-conforming materials, and notify/escalate to the appropriate leader as necessary. Participate in team development and problem solving. Read and interprets labels and documents. Release and process orders, preform inventory transactions and complete orders for daily batches the line is working related to the stockroom and kit room.
Ensure that inventory accuracy is maintained to meet defined standard metric above a 95% accuracy rate. Act as a second line of defense for all material received to ensure product is correct and/or right quantity is received. Must be able to identify and build 45+ different types of standard kits to meet demands on all customer orders. Act as a role model for safety including compliance with all related safety guidelines and regulations. Be proficient with stocking boxes and other items on shelving, floor, or bins as well as making appropriate system transactions. Maintain a clear and orderly stockroom.
Operate a forklift, powered pallet jack, or other equipment to fulfill stock movements. Effectively communicate with various departments, leadership, customers, care and buyers about inventories. Must have extensive knowledge of all parts and products across production lines. Must work independently and have critical thinking skills to assess situations and solve problems and or concerns in a timely manner. Be familiar with all the plant layout, production lines, and all related stock locations. Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Forklift experience helpful Advanced computer skills required including Microsoft Office and MRP systems. Solid work history and attendance required. Able to accept responsibility and follow through. On-the-job training provided.
Must be able to determine optimal storge of materials. Must be able to communicate both verbal and written. Must be able to read and write to properly transact products, maintain records, and communicate effectively. Additions, subtraction, multiplication and division. Conversions of metric units
